Job Summary

The Sales Engineer will be part of the commercial expansion in the industrial sector.
This role combines strategic market development, very strong technical sales expertise, and team
leadership to build new customer relationships, introduce engineered solutions, and establish the
company's commercial footprint with new technologies and capabilities besides the automotive sector in
another untapped markets such as aeronautics, packaging, food industry, pharmaceutical, logistics, etc.
 

Objectives of the position

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new industrial market segments and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate in the go-to-market strategy for product definition and introduction and market penetration.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, customer needs mapping, and market sizing.
  • Serve customers technically and commercially
  • Prepare technical and budgetary quotation to the customers
  • Contribution to the achievement of annual sales objectives
  • Identify opportunities, establish strategic relationships, and generate sustainable growth for the
    company.
     

Technical Management

  • Support the commercial rollout of solutions with engineering/technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Engineering, purchasing, assembly) to define and adapt solutions
    to customer applications
  • Deliver technical presentations.
  • Analyze the offer requests and clarify the technical details with the customer,
  • Define, document and budget the technical scope of the offer
  • Make technical-commercial follow-up of the offer

Commercial management:

  • Manage and interpret customer needs
  • Visit customers frequently to maintain and foster contact
  • Inform customers of our products, services and market trends.
  • Search for new business opportunities. Feed and update the CRM.

Others:

  • Participate in the definition of the annual sales plan.
  • Interact with technical experts from other departments.
  • Maintain and encourage contact with other offices of the group
  • Identify areas for improvement in the department.


Requirements

Education:
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related) preferably Automation engineering, or
commercial background with solid experience in technical product solutions. (preferably automation
solutions or similar)

Commercial experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the technical sale of capital goods / solutions or machinery for
    industrial automation projects.
  • Valuable previous experience in project management


Technical Background:

  • Ability to understand technical specifications, industrial applications, and engineering requirements.
  • Understand all core processes along the entire value stream within a manufacturing company.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, development, or technical teams.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to communicate customer needs to different areas of the organization and convey solutions and
    limitations to the customer to facilitate feedback.
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills to seek internal agreements and agreements with suppliers on project
    feasibility and with customers to generate agreements on scope, delivery, and cost.
  • Ability to generate solutions for the manufacture of assembly lines that meet customer requirements.
  • Strategic vision and results orientation.
  • Analytical skills to identify market opportunities.
  • Proactivity, autonomy, and decision-making capacity.
  • Time Management and teamwork
  • Open thinking and flexible


Languages:

  • High-level English required for interaction with global customers, technical teams, and multinational
    stakeholders (minimum B2-C1).
  • Spanish: Professional level fluently
  • Additional languages are a benefit.


Availability:
Willing to travel nationally and internationally as required by the business.
